Cidex Trade Fairs from Oct 1
OUR REGIONAL BUREAU
Chennai, 14 June
Cidex trade fairs, a joint venture
between two German trade fair companies - Messe Duesseldorf GMBH and Koelnmesse
International GMBH, expects 25 percent of its stalls for the forthcoming Biotec
India 2005, Pharma India 2005 and Interkama India 2005 trade fairs to be taken
up by foreign companies.
"These foreign companies are on the lookout for Indian distributors and are
taking a cursory glance at the Indian market. Since we market our shows abroad
(through 114 marketing offices) they attract good visitors," said Japesh Thakur,
project director, Cidex.
The three fairs are to be held simultaneously between Oct 01 and Oct 03 in
Greater Noida. Pharma India 2005 is an exhibition-cum-conference on the
pharmaceutical industry, Biotec India is an exhibition-cum-conference on
biotechnology equipments, products and services, Interkama is an exhibition that
will focus on process and manufacturing automation, and integrated IT Solutions.
Cidex expects to put up between 100 and 125 stalls. Cidex organises exhibitions,
conferences and fairs niche segments including processed food, metallurgy and
hospital equipment.
